I'd like to welcome you to my homepage. I am the manger of OIT computer labs at Boise State University, and it is my job to make sure the labs are running smoothly at all times. If you have any ideas, comments, or criticisms about the way the labs are run, please send me an E-mail message.
I have broad experience in the technology industry, where I have been employed since completing my MBA from the University of California in 1993. Before being hired at Boise State, I was a marketing manager for a software company that developed database & data warehousing solutions for IBM's AS/400 computer systems. I traveled extensively, conducting presentations & seminars all over the country. Prior to going back to business school in 1991, I worked for six years in the aviation industry flying to airports all over the western United States. I am an Instrument-rated Private Pilot.
I purchased my first computer in 1987: It had 640 Kilobytes of RAM (I spent $200 to upgrade it from 512K), a 40 megabyte hard drive, and an 8088 processor that moved at a blazing 8 MHz. Technology has come a long way in the past 15 years, and it is challenging to keep up with the constant changes occurring.
Other activities that I enjoy include mountain biking, hiking, digital & 35mm photography, & enjoying all that Idaho has to offer. For those that are so inclined, please click here to see some online galleries of some photographs I have taken.
